Engineer - IT Infra (Network & Server)

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated and technically skilled Network & Server Engineer with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in managing enterprise network infrastructure, VMware virtualization, and Windows/Linux server environments. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, security, and performance of the organization's IT infrastructure, including network devices, servers, virtualization platforms, storage, backup solutions, and related services.

Key Responsibilities

Network Administration

• Configure, monitor, and maintain LAN, WAN, Wi-Fi, VPN, and SD-WAN environments.
• Switches, Routers, VPA knowledge must be require
• Manage and troubleshoot network devices including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless controllers.
• Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues.
• Implement network security policies and access controls.
• Coordinate with ISPs and vendors for network-related incidents and upgrades.

Server & VMware Administration

• Install, configure, and maintain Windows Server and Linux Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies, and File Servers.
• Administer and support VMware vSphere, ESXi Hosts, vCenter Server, and virtual machines.
• Create, configure, migrate, clone, and troubleshoot virtual machines.
• Monitor VMware infrastructure performance, resource utilization, and availability.
• Perform server and VM patching, upgrades, and security hardening.
• Manage storage integration and virtualization-related backups.

Backup & Security

• Monitor backup jobs and perform restoration activities when required.
• Ensure compliance with cybersecurity standards and IT policies.
• Support antivirus, endpoint security, vulnerability remediation, and security audits.
• Assist in disaster recovery and business continuity planning.

Infrastructure Support

• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues related to servers, virtualization, and network infrastructure.
• Coordinate with OEMs and vendors for warranty and support cases.
• Maintain IT infrastructure documentation, SOPs, and asset records.
• Participate in infrastructure upgrades, migration projects, and new technology deployments.

Required Skills

• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, VLANs, Routing, Switching, VPN, Firewall, and SD-WAN technologies.
• Hands-on experience with Windows Server Administration (2016/2019/2022).
• Working knowledge of Linux Server Administration.
• Experience with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy Management.
• Strong knowledge of VMware vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, VM provisioning, migration, snapshots, and resource management.
• Familiarity with SAN/NAS storage and backup solutions.
• Understanding of cybersecurity best practices and network security concepts.
• Good troubleshooting and analytical skills.

• CCNA / CCNP
• VMware VCP (VMware Certified Professional)
• Microsoft Certified (MCSA / Azure Fundamentals)
• ITIL Foundation

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics, or related field.
