HORIBA India and iCAT jointly organized MOBILITY SYNERGY 2025: Driving Innovation in Mobility

HORIBA India in collaboration with the International Centre for Automotive Technology (ICAT), successfully hosted MOBILITY SYNERGY 2025, a tech day held on October 09, 2025 at ICAT’s premises. The event brought together global experts, industry leaders, and technology enthusiasts to explore the future of mobility and automotive testing.

The day commenced with a traditional lamp lighting ceremony, symbolizing the beginning of a knowledge-rich experience. This was followed by an inaugural address by Dr. Rajeev Gautam (Senior Corporate Officer - HORIBA Ltd., Japan and President - HORIBA India) who emphasized the importance of collaboration and innovation in shaping the future of sustainable mobility.

The technical sessions featured distinguished speakers from HORIBA’s global leadership:
 - Mr. Kazuya Tsurumi (Head – Mobility Solution Business, HORIBA Ltd., Japan) delivered a compelling talk on “Compliance through Innovation in Testing the Limits of BS7 & EURO7”, highlighting the evolving regulatory landscape and HORIBA’s advanced testing capabilities.

- Mr. Ali Ben Fatoum (Head of International Sales, HORIBA Europe) presented “EV Test Lab: Navigating Complexity with Confidence”, offering insights into the challenges and solutions in electric vehicle testing.

- Mr. Steve Whelan (Global Applications Centre Lead – Emissions, HORIBA MIRA (UK)) spoke on “Sustainable Solutions for Future Mobility”, showcasing HORIBA’s commitment to environmental responsibility and technological advancement.

The event provided a platform for interactive discussions, knowledge sharing, and networking with customers and partners, reinforcing HORIBA’s position as a thought leader in mobility solutions.
