Enacting as a demonstration base for emission measurement systems, advanced analytical instruments and an indigenized customization facility is operational since 2006. This state-of-the-art facility is certified with ISO 9001:2015, ISO 14001:2015, ISO 45001:2018 and NABL ISO IEC 17025:2017 accreditation that supports the Make in India and Atmanirbhar Bharat drive. HORIBA has executed many projects on the Development of a 2/3 Wheel Chassis Dynamometer, Make In India EV Chassis Dyno, RDE Testing Continuous Emission Monitoring System (CEMS), Ambient Air Quality Monitoring System (AAQMS) and Water Quality Monitoring System (WQMS) for both domestic and export supplies at this technical center.

HORIBA India Technical Center Inaugurated in 2016, is a comprehensive center with facility for product demonstration and testing, a workshop for product customization and assembly, an office space, and a training center.
It is a core establishment for all types of Engines and Vehicle testing, Calibration Center for Gas Dividers, Converter Checker (GDC), Mass Flow Controller, OBS- PN (PEMS) & FTIR. Our Services includes Vehicle and Engine testing, Real Driving Emission Testing, Vehicle Engineering Services, and consultancy for turnkey solutions.

VULCAN 4WD 48’’ Second-generation Chassis Dynamometer with Mass Emission Measurement System, allows emission measurement of passenger cars, hybrid cars, and light-duty vehicles. Emission Test is carried out as per Indian and other Global regulations with a dedicated soak room maintaining the temperature and humidity as per latest regulations.

- Equipped with dedicated and individual sampling tunnel specifically for the testing of Diesel, Gasoline, CNG, and alternate fuels.
- Equipped with lab safety protocol for fire safety, smoke detection, and gas leakage detection. Fire hydrants and fire extinguishers are interlocked within for protection of test engines and vehicles in case an emergency occurs.

HORIBA India shaped the vision of Industrial-Academic collaboration by establishing such technical platforms with two premier institutes in India.
HORIBA - IISc Technical Center, Bangalore (HITC-B)
The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) located in Bangalore is the top-most institute of India under the central government. With the support and guidance of Prof. Siva Umapathy, the well-known Raman spectroscopist from this institute, HORIBA India (HIN) could sign an MoU with IISc for setting up the HORIBA-IISc Technical Centre (HITC) in 2018. This was the first-ever step taken by HORIBA in India to start a clearly distinctive technical platform, with its own Application Scientists, for running a customer-outreach program. The application lab comprises LabRAM HR Evolution (Raman Spectroscopy), Duetta (two-in-one Fluorescence and Absorbance Spectrometer), DeltaPro (Fluorescence Lifetime Spectrometer), SZ-100 (Dynamic Light Scattering) instruments, LA-300 (Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyzer) and KOACH (Clean Air Solution) with the possibility of further expansion with other equipment for demonstration.


HORIBA - IIT Delhi Technical Center, Delhi (HITC-D)
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi is an autonomous public research and technical institute created to be one of the Centres of Excellence for training, research and development in science, engineering, and technology. To enhance our vision for customer outreach in the North of India, HORIBA Scientific could, fortunately, extend its footprints in one of the most influential technological institutes by signing an MOU with IIT Delhi in 2022. With the kind support of Dr. Rangan Banerjee (Director - IIT Delhi), we could establish the second technical center, HORIBA – IITD Technical Centre (HITC).
This center is currently hosting our LA-960V2 (Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyzer - both Wet and Dry), LA-350 (Laser Diffraction Particle Size Analyzer (Wet only), MESA-50 (X-Ray Fluorescence Analyzer), Mass Flow Controller (MFC) and Optical Emission Spectrometer (OES). .
